Capitain-Gagnerot

   Since 1802, Maison Capitain-Gagnerot has resided at the eastern base of the Corton hillside in the sleepy
   village of Ladoix-Serrigny. Entirely a family affair, the estate is run by brothers Patrice (in the vines), Roger (in the
     cellar), with Chantal and Hugette managing commerce. Pierre, Patrice's son, has acquired a parcel in the village of
     Saint Romain (see below), and is quickly making his mark.

    Robert Parker of the Wine Advocate states:   "Consider Capitain-Gagnerot wines, as Monsieur Capitain wines are this
    village [Ladoix] finest producer"

Domaine du Prieure

At the entrance of the sleepy village of Savigny les Beaune resides this lovely estate. A family affair, the vines and cellar
are tended by Jean-Michel and his son Stephen, whilst Yvonne manages commerce. In their careful hands they are
excellent stewards of these beautiful parcels of Pinot Noir, Chardonnay and a tiny bit of Aligote.

Stephen met his match with yours truly on a recent cycling trip in the hills above the village of Savigny les Beaune (courage, Stephen!)
