Dumaine du Grangeon
“Its minerality is often accompanied by a freshness reminiscent of a sea breeze, sometimes even with hints of mint. Full-bodied, rich in texture, yet fresh. Honey suckle, kiwi, lemon zest and white peach.”
“Light straw yellow with green highlights.Vibrantly floral, with white peach, minerals and white flowers. Brisk, fresh with acidity, yet opulence and expressive with orchard fruits – acacia, pear and melon, spiced with hints of citrus and a very intense stony minerality.”
“….Beautiful, with northern Rhone-like black pepper blackberry, violets-like black pepper, blackberry, violets, olive and hints of bacon fat all emerging from the glass. Medium-bodied, seamless and elegant, with a lightly textured and juicy feel, I don’t think it will make old bones, but it will dish out plenty of pleasure over the coming 3-5 years.

“Ample, violet-laced blackberry fruits, scorched earth, tar, graphite and licorice to go with a medium-bodied, structured, yet elegant profile on the palate. The texture is liquid granite and it flows over the tongue as if woven from the finest silk. Yet this medium-bodied wine is light and graceful, with notable, savory tannin and integrated acidity with cherry, spice and pepper.”
