2017 Syrah

Description

“Beautiful, with northern Rhone-like black pepper, blackberry, violets, olive all emerging from the glass. Amazing precision and purity. Structured with loads of very fine-tannin and a perfect acidity. So complex and powerful yet still very elegant. Medium-bodied, seamless and elegant, with a lightly textured and juicy feel.”

2016 Chatus

Description

“Ample, violet-laced blackberry fruits, scorched earth, tar, graphite and licorice to go with a medium-bodied, structured, yet elegant profile on the palate. The texture is liquid granite and it flows over the tongue as if woven from the finest silk. Yet this medium-bodied wine is light and graceful, with notable, savory tannin and integrated acidity with cherry, spice and pepper.”
